Introducing the May 11, 2024 Speakers

Lisa Borowsky.jpg
Lisa Borowsky
Candidate, Mayor of Scottsdale
As a lifelong Scottsdale resident, I have a deep appreciation for our past and a vision for protecting our future. I’ve spent my professional career representing homeowners and obtaining multi-million dollar recoveries for the shoddy work of developers. I will bring this same tenacity to representing and protecting our community. I will bring transparency to our city’s government and ensure your money is spent responsibly.
Bob Hughes
Inventor and successful businessman, Bub has been a major figure in the Audit of the 2022 AZ Election.
Rep. Justin Heap
Candidate, Maricopa County Recorder

Maricopa County elections are a laughing stock. Voter confidence is at an all-time low. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I'm running for Recorder to restore honesty, transparency & integrity in our elections.

"It is time to return the position of county recorder to one that is exclusively focused on running transparent, secure, honest and lawful elections."

Frank Milstead
35 year career in Law Enforcement. Born and raised in Phoenix, I grew up in a family deeply connected to the community, with my father serving in the Phoenix Police Department before leading the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Alongside my two children, I've experienced the rich tapestry of life in Phoenix and look forward to contributing to our community again.

Crossroads

OUR MISSION

To provide high quality, affordable, comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs and services that promote recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, personal growth, accountability, self-sufficiency, and healing.

PIONEERS IN PEER-GUIDED CARE™

Today, Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment provider with proven expertise in serving addicted individuals through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable peer-guided residential and outpatient programs. Peer-guided care is a service that is performed by ‘our peers,’ or individuals that have successfully completed substance abuse treatment programs and related recovery programs. Results show that our treatment methodology, 12-Step emphasis, a full menu of support services and community collaboration provides an effective basis for long-term recovery and promotes success. Through our program, clients develop the skills and confidence they need to transition successfully back into the community as healthy, self-sufficient, sober individuals.

May message from Club President Linda Rizzo

Paradise Republican Women’s Club needs YOU!

What it means to volunteer...

Volunteering is the act of rendering selfless service to a cause, oftentimes for free and without coercion. It is about giving time to a good cause, specifically to help an organization, your community or an individual you are not related to.

PRWC has need of a 2nd Vice President Membership who can keep track of new/renewed Members and interact with the Treasurer and the Registrar, distribute New Member Packets and attend the Executive Committee meetings. Will train.

Do you have Communications experience? Like to design? PRWC is needing a Newsletter Creator. The program used is Constant Contact.

The Office of Secretary is vacant. This person will record minutes of the Executive Committee meetings and any other Club meetings. Will train.

It is critical these positions be filled.

Help us keep Paradise Republican Women's Club moving forward.

We can't do it alone!

If you have any interest in serving your Club, please contact President Linda Rizzo at (480) 766-6606.
