Diapers Galore 'n More

Caring for America
The Caring for America project to aid military families in Arizona was introduced at the January 2010 General Meeting. It was met with great enthusiasm! Thank you for the wonderful response. In conjunction with the Arizona National Guard State Family Programs, the Paradise Republican Women's Club will hold a spring and fall baby shower for expectant moms whose husbands are currently deployed. Each lady will receive a gift basket containing small baby items plus a gift card (for diapers, etc.).
Depending upon how many baskets we can supply, the National Guard will send invites to the moms. All expectant moms may not be included if we lack funds to accommodate everyone. The spring shower is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2011, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at the National Guard, 52nd Street and McDowell. All Paradise Republican Women's Club members are welcome.
Donations by check are tax deductible as a charitable contribution. If you know corporate or business people who might give a contribution to help the military - that would be fantastic. Any amount is helpful and it all adds up to more baskets.
